Triple Crown Pioneers New Path in Lacrosse with Project X

Triple Crown Sports is known famously around Salt Lake and Utah for producing some of the largest youth tournaments the state has ever seen, and the organization returns to Utah with an all new sport. Salt Lake looks forward to welcoming Project X National Championships this July!

Jam On It Welcomes Basketball
Back To Salt Lake

Starting July 2nd, Jam On It will be the first event hosted in the Mountain America Expo Center since COVID-19 restrictions throttled back sports tourism in the US earlier this year. Youth basketball teams from across the Western parts of the country will make the journey to Utah to compete in one of the largest indoor basketball events in the West.

A big congratulations to Chris Robinson, Visit Salt Lake's Sports Market Manager, for achieving his Certified Sports Event Executive (CSEE) credential from Sports ETA. Clay Partain, Director of Sports Market Sales, was also recently highlighted by Sports ETA for serving on the Mentoring Committee.

RSL Makes National Headlines with
Major Tournament

In a partnership with RSL, the National Women's Soccer League announced that the 2020 NWSL Challenge Cup will take place at the Zions Bank Stadium in Salt Lake. The action kicks off on June 27th and will be aired live on CBS.
