The Delta Meeting Network

Delta Air Lines proudly partners with Visit Salt Lake to offer discounted rates for your next event—in Salt Lake, of course! The Delta Meeting Network program is great for meetings, conventions and tradeshows where 50 or more attendees book their own travel. It provides travelers with a 2-10% discount on airfare, and awards the event organizer with one free ticket for every 40 that travel, using the assigned event code.

• Earned tickets can be used for future travel as needed by staff, guests and speakers, and are good for one year from the date of issue.

The 68th United Nations Civil Society Conference in Salt Lake City

The 68th United Nations Civil Society Conference is coming to Salt Lake on August 26th-28th. The Building Inclusive and Sustainable Communities is being hosted at the Salt Palace Convention Center and this year’s UN Civil Society Conference, reflecting Salt Lake’s leadership and demonstrated commitment on sustainability issues, focusing on “making cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable by 2030.”

The agenda explores the interlinkages among all 17 Goals, including critical issues relating to gender. The three-day conference, co-hosted by the UN Department of Global Communications, Salt Lake City, and the NGO Executive Committee, features opening and closing plenary sessions, interactive thematic sessions, NGO-sponsored workshops, exhibits and a youth hub. Speakers and attendees include leaders and other representatives from NGOs, UN agencies, academia, faith traditions, the public and private sectors and youth from around the world.

The Conference is traditionally held at UN Headquarters, but has recently been hosted by Melbourne, Australia; Paris; Mexico City; and Bonn, Germany.
