Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Championships 

The 2019 MCLA National Championships takes place once again on May 6-11 at the Salt Lake Regional Athletic Complex. College lacrosse athletes, staff, and fans from around the US will descend upon the city for a week of exciting games.

Fencing Brings Gold to Salt Lake

By all measures, the USA Fencing 2019 D1/Wheelchair National Championships and April North America Cup was a grand success. Visit Salt Lake reported over $2.1 million in direct impact to the destination.

NASP Aims for Utah

The National Archery in the Schools Program returns to Salt Lake City on April 26th - 27th for the NASP Western Nationals. This event is entering into it's second year of existence, since NASP made a decision to split the national championships into both an East and West championships. More than 1,500 archers are expect to travel to Utah to participate in the event.

Ultimate Frisbee on the Climb

Utah Ultimate Disc Assocation reports that Salt Lake is one of the fastest growing destinations for the sport of ultimate frisbee. This is apparent with the number of USA Ultimate events that are now held in area. The USA Ultimate College Club Championships held in South Jordan was a huge success, and the USA Ultimate Ski Town Classic happens again this August at the Salt Lake Regional Athletic Complex.

University of Utah Stadium Green-Lighted for Major Expansion

A major financial donation by the Ken Garff family of $17.5 million towards the $80 million stadium project marks the largest gift in Utah athletics history.

NCAA Basketball Volunteers

Salt Lake proudly hosted the NCAA Men's Basketball 1st & 2nd Rounds in March. Visit Salt Lake took on the responsibility of citywide team hosts during the event. Our group of volunteers worked seamlessly with our host partners at the University of Utah to ensure the teams, coaches, and fans had a great experience.
